ERODe

EndoRectal Operative Device.

ERODe – EndoRectal Operative Device is a disposable and sterile anal retractor which is suitable for various types of proctological interventions such as:
• haemorrhoidectomies;
• mucosal pexy;
• removal of rectal neoformations (polyps, condyloma, various neoplasms);
• targeted biopsies;
• surgery of abscesses and perianal fistula.

Its slightly conical shape and perfectly circular section favour the introduction and a homogeneous and progressive expansion of the walls of the anal canal, while its closed ogival terminal prevents the descent of waste in the operating field.

ERODe is characterised by the wide longitudinal window that delimits the operating field, whose surface is regulated, according to the operative requirements and the intervention times, through the positioning of a suitable slider, also useful to avoid involuntary trauma to the mucosa during the phases of rotation, insertion and removal of the device from the anal canal.

Thanks to its characteristic Multi Light handle, ERODe can accommodate a Sapi Med Pen LED Light or the terminal of a traditional optic fibre cable, ensuring an optimal level of illumination for the whole duration of the intervention.
The sterile packaging is completed by the presence of a pusher and eventually 4 Vicryl 2.0 suture threads, one 26 mm 5/8 needle and a Pen LED Light.
